elective courses. A Peer Counselor also works closely with beginning
students with course selection. Peer Counselors are selected from outstanding students in
the graduate and undergraduate programs. To assist students in the selection of courses, the Office of Academic Services
publishes an advising manual with course schedules and descriptions for required and
elective courses. Dates and deadlines for advising and registration are also included in
the manual. The Office of Academic Services also publishes the Student Handbook covering
school policies and information on career opportunities. The School's alumni board
has implemented Professional Alumni Mentorship Program, joining students with
practicing alumni for advise on job placement.
