Financial Assistance
Undergraduate Aid
The University of Miami attracts students with recognized academic achievement
by offering a substantial financial assistance program based on merit and need.
These scholarships and grants are administered by the University of Miami as
well as by federal and state agencies. Each year approximately 50% of incoming
first-year students receive merit scholarships. Academic merit scholarship
eligibility is determined when a student is admitted to the University. To apply
for admission to University of Miami, go to
miami.edu/admissions. All other
need-based financial aid is awarded by the Office of Financial Assistance
Services upon receipt of a processed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
For more information about how to apply, visit the Office of Student Financial
Assistance Services office in the Rhodes Building or click on the following link
to their website: www.miami.edu/ofas.
Graduate Aid
All students admitted full-time to the Master of Architecture program may be
eligible for partial tuition scholarships and/or graduate assistantships, based
on academic record. Scholarships vary in amount and are intended to assist the
recipient's pursuit of the studies required by the program. Scholarships will be
awarded on a competitive basis. Graduate assistantships require service in the
form of teaching, research assistance or other appropriate activities as
designated by the director of the graduate program. For more information, visit
the Graduate School at the Albert Pick Hall or go to their website:

Undergraduate Scholarships
Undergraduate Endowed Departmental Scholarships are part of the financial aid
awarding process. Upon receipt of a processed FAFSA by the published deadline,
students will be considered at that time for all available resources. For more
information about how to submit a FAFSA and the published deadlines, visit the
Office of Student Financial Assistance Services office in the Rhodes Building or
