The Bachelor of Architecture / Master of Business Administration is an exciting joint venture with the University’s School of Business Administration, enabling students to earn a Bachelor of Architecture at the same time as a Master of Business Administration. The joint degree offers students the unique opportunity to complete the two degrees in six years, (versus seven), by combining the programs.

Students will begin taking Saturday graduate-level business courses during the fourth year of their architecture program. Both degrees are fully accredited by their respective accrediting bodies — the NCARB and AACSB International.

According to Associate Dean Denis Hector, “This program is designed to attract top quality students who are looking for ways to diversify their credentials and grow professionally in an unique niche market, while opening up competitive opportunities.”

A few of the courses that will be part of the MBA curriculum are “Legal and Ethical Implications of Business Decision Making,” “Business Policy and Strategy,” and “Strategic Marketing.”

Interested students in this program should feel free to visit their advisor in the Office of Academic Services.
