School of Architecture Alumni  

The alumni are the foundation of the School of Architecture.  Their professional success is a testament to the rigors of their education and the dedication of their faculty.  Our alumni, scattered around the globe, distinguish themselves not only in designing buildings, interiors, landscapes and communities, but also in leading their communities as teachers, entrepreneurs, and elected leaders.  They are role models and mentors for students still in school.  Alumni involvement with our students and faculty through monetary and in-kind support of our programs illustrates the collaborative endeavor that excellence in architectural education requires. 

All alumni of the School of Architecture are members of the University of Miami Alumni Association, and are entitled to all of the benefits offered by the School and the UMAA.

Fall 2007 -- See our schedule of lectures, exhibits and events on our fall calendar page using this link.  Events Schedule

November 2, 2007 -- Don't miss out on the drawing for the Annual Young Alumni (1997-2007) Tuition Rebate which will take place during the Homecoming Reunion Barbecue on November 2.  Watch for your participation form in the mail this fall.  You do not need to be present to win.

November 1 - 4 -- The University's Alumni Weekend 2007 will bring UM alumni back together from all around the world.  This year’s event will feature the official recent grad reunion, the 5th, 10th, 25th, 30th, and 40th class reunions, Alumni Avenue, and affinity group, school and college reunions. Described as “the best new addition to Homecoming in ages,” the festivities on Alumni Avenue are open to all alumni who wish to participate and enjoy the celebration.  For more information, contact Sarah Rogers, B.S.C. Online Directory:  Find lost classmates through our fully searchable online directory.  You can also update your address, job, or family information with the University of Miami through your comprehensive personal profile.

'Cane Connections:  Get industry advice and establish a UM career network with ‘Cane Connections.  Over 3,000 volunteers have signed up to be online contacts and mentors in hundreds of industries and locations nation and worldwide!

Class Notes:  Keep UM and the School of Architecture up to date with what’s new in your career or family with Class Notes.  Class Notes are completely searchable and you can set up monitors so when you post a new note, your friends and classmates will be notified as well!

UM Library Portal:  With your registration to MiamiALUMNI.net, you will have access to the UM Alumni Library Portal, where you’ll have access to search scholarly journals and publications not available to the general public.

Your first step to cashing in on all of the benefits the University of Miami Alumni Association has to offer is to Get Carded.  All new graduates are entitled to a two-year, renewable Alumni Card, which grants access to many benefits not available to the general public.  Click here to Get Carded.
