KEN DRIGGERS

AFFILIATION:  Executive Director, Palmetto Conservation Foundation

AREA OF EXPERTISE: Land Use Attorney

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE:  Ken founded Palmetto Conservation Foundation in 1989 and since that time has worked on various conservation, recreation, and historic preservation projects. Prior to founding PCF, he was an associate with the World Wildlife Fund in its Successful Communities program. His first career was in local government and included positions as senior budget analyst for the City of Chicago and assistant administrator for Charleston County. 

RESEARCH INTERESTS: Ken’s research will focus on the connection between minority communities and the conservation movement, with the objective being to identify potential ways to build bridges between the two groups.
