"Form follows finance." The vision, planning,
architecture, and design of great places depend on the ability of developers to
project, secure, and manage the necessary financing. Successful real estate
development relies on sound financing, whether the scope is a single building or
an entire planned community, and whether the type is residential, retail,
office, industrial, or a mix of uses.
This intensive introduction to real estate finance
teaches the
basic concepts and tools used to analyze the financial feasibility of real estate
development. The seminar provides those
without a strong financial background with the necessary training to communicate
effectively with real estate professionals. The course includes case
studies and class sessions with experienced real estate educators and
practitioners. Although no prior background in finance is needed, there is
required reading prior to the course.
This seminar
will educate attendees on:
-
Revenue and expense analyses
-
