Demand for
walkable, mixed-use neighborhoods is exploding throughout the U.S. and is
projected to double in this decade alone. This intensive seminar explores how to
analyze and estimate the demand for a variety of residential, retail, and office
components of projects and how to market real estate in these communities. The
seminar reviews marketing in all stages of development, from site acquisition
through sales. Marketing of both projects and companies is explored in depth, as
is how to distinguish individual projects and create tailored marketing
programs. The faculty, composed of top educators and practitioners, provides
expertise in the market analysis and marketing of numerous projects across the
country, with a focus on New Urbanist developments.
Attendees learn to:
- Conduct market research that helps define the buyers
- Find market niches and unique opportunities for their
product
- Forecast absorption and how to reach their target market
through design and imaging
- Identify unique selling propositions for each project
- Build brand awareness for projects and companies
