Fellowship Application

PLEASE NOTE: The community building fellowship program is currently on hiatus as we concentrate on follow-up with our five charrette communities, program evaluation, and new assistance and outreach efforts with other Knight communities including communities in the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Other major efforts we are working on include the development of a master’s program in real estate development and urbanism, and an online course in New Urbanism. Please check our website regularly for updates and for our call for applications for our next group of Knight Program Fellows.

There are two types of fellowships available, the individual fellowship and the sponsored fellowship. The individual fellowship is fully funded through the Knight Program in Community Building, while the sponsored fellowship allows organizations, municipalities, etc. to sponsor fellows. Applicants for both types of fellowships are selected through a competitive process. Past applications are posted here in pdf and Word formats for review purposes only.
