HOW TO BECOME A TOWN
ARCHITECT
A NEW EXECUTIVE EDUCATION COURSE OFFERED BY THE KNIGHT PROGRAM IN COMMUNITY
BUILDING
ON NOVEMBER 12, 2005
SEPTEMBER 30,
2005 -- How to Become a Town Architect,
held November 12, 2005 on the Coral Gables campus of the University of Miami, is
an intensive introduction to the subject and part of a series of executive
education courses offered by the Knight Program in Community Building at the
University of Miami School of Architecture. This course combines real estate
development with the School of Architecture’s expertise in New Urbanism. It is
offered in conjunction with The New Urban Guild.
This one-day
course provides a comprehensive overview of the process of becoming a town
architect and focuses on the core responsibilities of the position. Town
architects are essential to ensuring quality at the scale of architecture.
Seminar attendees learn from industry leaders who are implementing the best
current systems for construction oversight and design review.

There is a reduced rate of $450 for those enrolling in both courses.
Tuition
The course fee
is $250 ($225 for early registration before October 28, 2005). Checks or money
