The Construction Management program at U-SoA is designed to broaden your educational and career options to solve challenges in the industry and become the future leaders in design and construction-related organizations worldwide. With the global population predicted to hit 9 billion by 2050 – and two out of every three people living in cities by 2050 – the demand for sustainable development has never been greater. As a graduate of this program, you will be uniquely qualified to be a leader in shaping the built environment.

We offer two paths leading to a Master of Construction Management:

The Master of Construction Management (MCM) is an interdisciplinary 36 credit program and open to graduates from Architecture, Engineering, and Construction related programs. The curriculum will broaden educational and career options for students. Formal knowledge and experience in project and construction management are highly sought after by, architectural and engineering firms, construction companies and real estate developers.

Combined with other educational opportunities currently offered or planned, at the U-SoA or other academic units, students can create their own future expanding their horizon in the job market. Students at U-SoA are able to enroll in a Master of Construction Management and our Master of Real Estate Development and Urbanism degrees completing a total of 60 credits combined. When coupled with our professional Bachelor of Architecture degree, graduates will have laid the foundations of Architecture, Construction and Real Estate Development enabling them to significantly influence the development of the built environment in a positive way.

The Executive Master of Construction Management (EMCM) program is designed for accomplished professionals in the design and construction industry who are ready to take their career to the next level.

Courses will be offered in the evenings and on weekends, to meet the needs of working professionals. The program will focus on current issues and events in construction management and address the needs of the industry by developing candidates for middle and upper management positions.
