The Photo Lab at the University of Miami School of Architecture is a resource provided by the school to allow students to photograph their architectural models in a professional setting. The Photo Lab is located on the 3rd floor of Building 35 in room 360. Students have 24/7 access to the Photo Lab but a reservation must be made prior to using the equipment. Students are responsible for bringing their own camera or recording device.

Equipment Provided:

  • One Black Backdrop (10'x6')
  • One White Backdrop (10'x6')
  • One Green Backdrop (10'x6')
  • Two Umbrella Lights
  • Two Softbox Reflectors
  • Black and White Posterboards

Equipment Rentals:

Students are responsible for bringing their own camera or recording device. The Richter Library Digital Lab has equipment available for rent, free of charge to students (https://library.miami.edu/reserve-equipment/)

Reserve a time:

Reserve a time slot by clicking the orange button below. On the google calendar, simply click on any GREEN slot that is available and type your name and phone number in the "Description" spot and change the color option on the event to RED.
