1) The Cost of Attendance values shown are based on assumed traditional, full-time enrollment. Amounts may be prorated based on a student’s actual enrollment after add/drop. (See definition of Census Date/Fixed Enrollment Date below.)
2) The costs for undergraduate on campus housing and meals are based on the weighted average housing charges for on campus residence, and 21 meals a week through the campus dining plan. Your actual housing and food costs may vary based on your housing and meal plan choices.
3) On campus housing is not available to students who are married or those with dependents.
4) The transportation allowance estimated above is for domestic students living in the 48 contiguous states. For those from Alaska, Hawaii or for international students the estimated transportation allowance is $4,080.
Students enrolled in six or more credit hours per semester are required to obtain adequate health insurance. U.S. citizens can waive the University-sponsored insurance.

Understanding Costs and Financial Eligibility
In addition to the tuition and fees, students should plan for books, general supplies, printing, computing resources, and specialized materials needed for completing the NAAB-accredited degree. Costs will vary by course, and upfront expenses may be higher (e.g., the purchase of a capable Windows or Apple laptop). While the School of Architecture and faculty make every effort to address rising costs, students may spend an average of ~$750 per semester for printing and supplies, depending on their courses. For computing, students should budget approximately $1,200–$1,500 at the lower end for a Windows laptop and refer to the updated architecture-specific specifications listed here on our website.
